Training Families with a Roadmap
Parenting is a journey, and every smart traveler carries a roadmap. Your parenting journey begins when you bring your first-born child home and it continues until your youngest child reaches 18 and moves into the second phase of his or her life.
Without a parenting roadmap it is impossible to parent from your best. Without the ability to identify your starting point, your final destination and how you are going to get there, parents get stuck in the cul-de-sac syndrome. This syndrome is the experience of going around and around, every day in a cycle that just does not work. You know it does not work, you just don’t know what to do about it.
By creating a Parenting Roadmap you solve the cul-de-sac scenario and create an atmosphere of cooperation, mutual respect, and fun. You will feel confidence in making decisions that influence your children and your family.
I am willing to bet that when you dreamed about life as a parent, your dream did not include fighting day in and day out about the same things over and over (and over and over) again. It certainly did not include feeling frustrated, stressed, confused, discouraged or hopeless.
How do you want to spend your time with your kids? The choice is yours.
As part of the Parenting On Track™ program we teach you how to access and use what you know about your children and your family to create your own Parenting Roadmap for Success.
You’ll identify where you are today, where you want to be in 3 months, 6 months or even 18 years. Then you create an intentional, purposeful, mutually respectful plan for navigating the distance in between.
