Hey,

Thanks for sharing. Creative parenting often leads to a peaceful household. Nice job being flexible, staying with it, using Family Meetings effectively and being truly committed to what it takes to create peace between 2 individuals who experience the world in unique way.

Bravo.

I could not read the article as the link was broken; however this is what I have learned using this program for peaceful parenting. Nothing sends me over the edge as far and quickly as having to do all the housework alone. Then I start sniping at my child that she should be helping out. Not very peaceful, I'm afraid.

However, after having participated in family meetings for about 2 years, my 10 year old daughter is now surprising me by coming up with her own strategies about doing cooperations (or in other words helping out around the house). And I am sure always to let her try them out instead of enforcing my old ideas. And that leads to peace! And a fairly clean house.
