New Parenting On Track™ Home Program Ships!

It’s official – the new Parenting On Track™ Home Program began shipping on August 11, 2008!

We want to thank everyone who purchased our new multi-media Home Program, the MP3 Audio Packs, signed up for the Members’ Forum or otherwise supported the growth of Parenting on Track™.

Making of the Parenting On Track Home Program

This was a year-long project that began as an idea coming straight from the parents who attended the 6-week, live parenting classes taught in Vermont. For years, you have been asking me to create “something” so that you, your friends and family members could have access to this material anytime and anywhere you needed it.

I will let you in on a secret – for YEARS I dreamed of creating a product that would capture the magic that occurs when teaching a live class. I just could not for the life of me, imagine how I would bring the vision in my head to reality.

Finally, with the help of Jennifer Nault and a team of local professionals we realized that, in fact, it WAS possible to make it happen.

I can’t begin to tell you the number of hours involved in making a program of this size, but suffice it to say that every day for the last 12 months, we have been, in some way or another, working on this project.

I won’t bore you with the number of hours spent in meetings, but I will share the BEST part of creating this program - the days spent “shooting” what became our 4 DVD live class!

We had an amazing group of parent volunteers who left their families for days and became the audience for the video. I don’t think any of them had any idea how much was involved, but they were all enthusiastic and committed participants who brought laugher, focus, tears and stories to share.

Not an actor among them, these brave parents were subjected to amateur make-up artists and asked to change clothes six times. They sat in hallways, ate bad, cold food, drank too much coffee, chewed a lot of gum, listened to me ramble on and on, heard “CUT, Take 2 – CUT, Take 3,” more times then any of us want to remember, snuck away to check on kids, had cameras stuck in their faces and sat in uncomfortable chairs until their bums just couldn’t take another minute. They did it all without complaining, not ever- not once. I can’t begin to thank them enough, but I intend to spend years trying.

Here are just a few pictures from behind the scenes:

Our goal in creating the Parenting On Track™ Home Program was to create a quality product that would give anyone in the world access to the same powerful program that has and continues to change lives for the better. Through the dedication of many individuals, I’m proud to say, we have done just that. Thanks again to all of you for the inspiration, the dedication and the motivation – we couldn’t have done it without you!

The purpose of life, is a life of purpose – Lord Byron
