About Parenting On Track

Parent Educator and Parenting On Track™ Director, Vicki Hoefle, has been helping parents improve their families for over 18 years.

A Proactive Parenting Approach

All too often, parents find themselves stuck in reactive situations, resorting to the latest quick-fix discipline tools to “get” their children to behave. This, of course, is the classic example of treating the symptoms, but not their root causes - an approach which inevitably leaves everyone in the family spinning their wheels while frustrations build and family members grow further and further apart.

Parenting On Track™ offers the alternative - a proactive parenting approach with concepts and strategies that help families prevent problems before they occur.

Founded in Science and Refined Through Experience

Director and Parent Educator, Vicki Hoefle, began developing the Parenting On Track™ program over 20 years ago when searching for guidance on how to parent her own family in an atmosphere of love, compassion, trust and mutual respect.

Introduced to the concepts of Dr. Alfred Adler through “Systematic Training for Effective Parenting”, by Don Dinkmeyer, Sr., PhD, Gary McKay, PhD, and Don Dinkmeyer, Jr., PhD, Vicki began studying and applying Adlerian principles to her own family.

Energized by how well the concepts worked for her, Vicki began sharing them as a facilitator of local parenting classes, while refining the practical applications in her Adlerian Child Care Center.

After a brief professional pause, Vicki began to focus exclusively on parent education and the development of the Parenting On Track™ program that her students rave about today.

When she is not conducting parenting classes, workshops, or donating her time to her charitable efforts, Vicki attends professional conferences such as the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and the International Committee of Adlerian Summer School Institutes.

Staying On Track

Parenting On Track™ is dedicated to improving the lives of families and providing a positive influence on society in the United States and around the world. Ultimately, we are focused on improving access to time-tested, proactive, sustainable parenting strategies and techniques through the development of products and services that will serve people throughout their lifetime.

Thank you for your trust and support!

What Are the Experts Saying?

Parenting on Track is a program that helps parents figure out where they want to go with their parenting and then helps them get there. Vicki's encouraging style makes the trip a lot of fun. I wholeheartedly recommend it to parents of children of all ages.

  • At 32 I found myself married, living in Seattle, and pregnant. Like most pregnant women, I wanted to be a really fabulous mother. During the first few weeks of my pregnancy, I basked in the wonder of this miracle. I daydreamed about what life would be like with my child.

In this daydream I played the part of Mary Poppins, or one of those perfect moms you see on TV-need I say more?

And then one night, I had a moment of clarity-I looked at myself in the mirror and thought, "You are a stubborn, opinionated, bossy, short-tempered, independent woman of thirty-two, and there is EVERY reason to believe that you will be that person whether you have children or not."

I wasn't about to panic or give up, so the question was... What am I going to do about this?
